Byers Avenue United Methodist is a unique church with roots extending back to 1899 and still bearing fruit today. Where today’s families find a connection with God and others. A place of belonging, sharing, and growing in faith.
Sunday Morning Worship offers opportunities to connect with God through a blend of hymns praise music, prayer and the Word, with print and multimedia presentations.
Church School offers opportunities for all ages to experience spiritual growth and connection with others.
Small Group Experiences throughout the week and month offers special opportunities in focus groups to cultivate your faith as a disciple of Christ.
Mission Projects offers an individual new experiences outside the church with the potential of engaging in ministry with others throughout our community and our world.
The strength of any community lies in the values and morals of the people who live and provide leadership in that given community. I believe it is the responsibility of the church to help each person find a positive and godly direction in his or her own life.
I believe God leads us into a particular church to grow personally but also where we can best serve God. Where we are united with others in a common goal, where we are able to do greater things for the glory of God. I was raised to pray to the one true God, to honor our country, and serve in our community.
Knowing and experiencing God in many ways in my life and seeing God at work in the lives of others has given evidence of God’s unlimited power and ways of working in His creation.
To God Be the Glory, AMEN
